Crixin Privacy Policy

Crixin is a product by The La Ziza Group, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Crixin mobile app and services collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and the third parties we share it with — including the third-party AI services that power your assistant. It applies to the Crixin iOS app and crixin.com.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

Account information: your phone number (used to create and sign in to your account), and any name or email you add.
Business content: your business name, industry, website address, uploaded documents, and knowledge-base content you add so your assistant can answer on your behalf.
Payment information: billing details, processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Call data: phone numbers involved in a call, call duration, call audio/recordings, and transcripts.
Usage data: features used, screens viewed, and time spent in the app.
Device information: device type, operating system, and app version.

1.3 Information from third parties

Website content: the public content of the business website you provide, retrieved so your assistant understands your business.
Analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and operate your AI phone assistant (place, answer, transcribe, and respond to calls).
Understand your business from the content you provide so the assistant can answer accurately.
Process payments and send receipts and account messages.
Provide support, improve features, and keep the service secure.
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your content to train shared or public AI models.

3. Third-Party AI & Service Providers

To deliver the assistant, Crixin shares specific personal data with the third-party services listed below. We ask for your explicit permission inside the app before any personal data is sent to a third-party AI service, and we disclose at that point what is shared and with whom.

Our commitments. We do not sell your personal information. We share data with these providers only to operate the service, under agreements that require them to protect your data with the same or greater protection described here and not to use your data to train their own models. We also share data when required by law or to protect our rights, and otherwise only with your consent.

4. SMS Communications

If you opt in to receive SMS, we send setup tips, account alerts, and service updates. Message frequency varies and message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.

5. Data Security

We protect your data with industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, encryption at rest), access controls and authentication, and secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase and Google Cloud).

6. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Call recordings & transcripts: retained while your account is active and deleted with your account.
Payment records: retained as required by law (up to 7 years).

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can:

Delete your account and data directly in the app: open Settings (gear icon, top right of the Home screen) → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, assistants, call history, and business data.
Access, update, or export your information by contacting us.
Opt out of SMS and marketing communications.
Withdraw consent for third-party AI processing by deleting your account (the assistant cannot operate without it).

8. Children's Privacy

Crixin is not intended for users under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International Users

Your data may be processed in the United States. By using Crixin, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notice.
